Building Inspections & Construction Management

Building Inspections

   

When you are having your new home constructed, Anderson Property Group, Inc. can be your representative in meetings with the Builder, walking the site and reviewing progress and compliance with plans, etc.


Anderson Property Group, Inc. will inspect the project at 5 major progress points to catch any potential defects before they are covered or when they can be easily corrected; 

  • Foundation and Crawlspace: This inspection would look at framing details, ventilation issues, insulation and vapor barrier installation.
  • Rough Framing: This inspection would review framing details with an eye towards conformance with the plans and specifications. 
  • Rough in MEP: This inspection would focus on the installation of Mechanical ducts, Electrical wires and equipment and Plumbing pipes and fixtures before insulation and drywall cover them up.
  • Insulation: This inspection would concentrate on the insulation type and installation. Proper insulation in walls, floors and ceilings can greatly impact the cost of operations of a home.
  • Roof: This inspection would look at the structural elements of the roof as well as the ventilation and roofing materials.

Reviewing the progress of construction at these points will give you confidence that the job is being done right.

From development of specifications to bid walks and bid selection, our pre-construction efforts can be tailored to your needs. After the contract has been let, we will work with your contractors to create a schedule and then over see the project through the punch out.
